3.3 CHECKING THE PHASES

DANGER! Always disconnect the lift whenever
working on the power supply terminal block.
Contact of parts of the body with live parts of
the machine can cause serious injury and even
death.
In order to check the phases, proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the control unit by means of the switch on the
distribution board.
Press the emergency mushroom-shaped button (1- fi g.7)
and lock it in its self-retaining position.
• Open the cover of the control pushbutton panel,
disconnect the phase wires L1 and L3 from the terminals
and invert their position. Close the push-button panel
cover, tightening the screws (3 - fi g.6).
Check again for correct electrical connection
replace the control console metal casing on the control
unit refi tting the screws in their suitable holes located at
the base and on the top of the metal casing of the control
console. Lock them tightly in place

3.4 INSTALLING THE PULL ARM

Remove the pull arm and accessories from the wooden
packing case.The pull arm is provided with 4 castors and
can therefore be manually positioned in the working area.
• Take the hydraulic-pneumatic pump from the pull arm
and rest it on the ground.
• Connect the pump supply fl exible pipe to the
compressed air distribution system intake.
• Operate the pump control button (see SECTION 4 -
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE) and check the movement
of the pull arm upright.
The compressed air pressure must be at least 8 Bar; if not,
provide an air accumulation tank to guarantee a suffi cient
operating level.
WARNING! The maximum pressure of the
compressed air must be 10 Bar. If the bodyshop
system compressor safety valve is set to

a pressure above 10 Bar, a fi lter/regulator/
pressure reducer/ lubricator unit equipped with
a pressure gauge must be fi tted on the inlet
provided for air supply to the control unit, and
the pressure must be set to a maximum value
of 8 Bar.
