•
The area above the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS must
not be occupied by electrical equipment connected
to the mains in order to prevent electrical discharges
created by the collision or contact of the vehicle with
such equipment.
•
The control unit console must be positioned at a safe
distance from the lift, providing a full view of the work
area.
•
In order to access the underside of the vehicle, the
operator must raise the lift high enough to work while
standing.
•
In the event of danger, press the emergency stop
button on the control console.
•
In the event of skin contact with the lift mechanism oil,
wash with plenty of water and soap.
Mandatory precautions when using the pull system:
•
Never lift the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS with the pull
arm inserted when there is no vehicle on the lift.
•
The operator must never pass in front of or stand
behind the pull arm when it is under tension.
•
When the pull arm is under tension, the operator must
stand at the side at least 1 metre away.
•
Never use ladders, stools or other objects when
tensioning the pull arm.
The operator must always remain on the ground.
•
Before tensioning the pull arm, always check the
tightening of the clamps.
•
Before raising and lowering the lift, always check that
there is a space of at least 60 cm all round the pull
arm.
•
When using the adjustable pull arm, always check that
there is suffi cient space available at the side of the
arm to permit rotation of the upright if necessary.
•
When lowering the lift, always use the control in the
"DESCENT TO FIRST SECTION" mode to avoid
damaging the pull arm and lift structures.
•
The vehicle parts must always be dismantled or
reassembled with the lift positioned at the level of the
fi rst safety stop.
•
During pulling, always check that there are no persons
or animals near or walking past the pull arm.
•
When changing the position of the pull arm, the
adjustment must always be performed with the pull
arm pivoting wheels at a height of no more than 10 cm
from the ground.
•
When the vehicle body is pulled, you are advised
to perform the operation with the pull arm pivoting
wheels at a height of no more than 10 cm from the
ground, and then bring the vehicle to the required
height to work in complete safety.
•
As a general rule, always contact the manufacturer in
the event of faulty operation of the lift or pull system
- do not try to solve the problem yourself.
•
All accessories not provided which are fi xed or placed
by the user above the lift platform are considered
part of the load and therefore the maximum weight
of the vehicle that can be lifted must be calculated by
subtracting the weight of these accessories from the
capacity given in the table.
2.6 SAFE MAINTENANCE

MAXIPLUS, the following instructions must be followed:

Do not under any circumstances remove or tamper

Never weld, torch or machine cut, or drill holes into the
lift structure.
•
Never operate the lift even when only one safety sign
is missing from the place where it was affi xed by the
manufacturer.
The safety or danger signs and the capacity table fi tted on
the lift provide basic accident-prevention instructions.
These signs and the table must always be kept clean and
replaced immediately when they come off, even partially,
or are damaged.
•
Periodically check the tightening and seal of the
screws and couplings.
•
Use the recommended oils.

Maintenance work must be carried out on the lift
only by qualifi ed and skilled personnel, following the
instructions given in this manual.
•
Maintenance must be performed with all due care,
following the instructions in this manual and replacing
damaged or worn parts.
If parts of the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS must be lifted,
•
follow the procedures and use the lifting and slinging
accessories prescribed by the regulations in force in
the country of operation.
•
Traces of oil on the fl oor are very dangerous and must
be completely and immediately removed.
•
Always use original spare parts for repairs and
maintenance.
•
Learn the instruction manual and keep it within easy
reach for the entire working life of the lift.
