2.2 PERFORMANCES OF THE LIFT
The MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS has been specifi cally
designed for straightening the bodies or other parts of
vehicles that have been damaged by accidents.
The performance of the lift varies according to how it is
used, i.e.:
• as a lift without pull system
• as a lift equipped with pull system
In the fi rst case, the operator can use the maximum lift
capacity, which is 3.000 kg.
In the second case, the lift capacity is reduced to 2.800 kg
to take account of the effects and weight of the pull arm.
The capacities given in the table are net; i.e. the weight
of the pull system fi tted on board the lift has already been
taken into account.
1
The instruction manual must be carefully read before
beginning work.
2
Before carrying out any maintenance operation, the lift
must be stopped and the instruction manual must be
consulted.
3
Danger of shearing the lower limbs: keep a safe
distance during raising and lowering of the lift.
4
Danger of falling: never climb onto the lift's upper
platform.
5
Stop: never pull pad supports out beyond reference
mark indicated on relevant label.
2.3 CLOTHING
Use clothing suitable for the machine and working
environment:
•
Do not wear loose-fi tting clothes: they can get caught
in the moving parts of the lift.
•
If required by the regulations in force in the country
where the lift is being used, the operator must wear
the prescribed safety clothing, for example helmet,
goggles, gloves, appropriate footwear, etc.
2.4 ECOLOGY AND POLLUTION
•
If the country in which the machine is being used
prescribes specifi c noise emission limits, suitable
protective aids should be provided for compliance
with the standards (ear plugs, headphones, etc.).
The MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS must not be used for
•
washing or degreasing vehicles.
•
Observe the laws in force in the country in which the
lift is being used concerning use and disposal of the
products used for cleaning and maintenance of the
MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS in accordance with the
manufacturer's recommendations.
•
When replacing worn-out parts or dismantling the lift,
observe the antipollution laws of the country in which
the lift is being used.
2.5 SAFE USE
Whenever the lift alone is being used, the following
prescriptions must be respected:
•
The lift must never be operated by anyone who has
not completely read, understood and assimilated the
contents of this instruction manual.
•
The MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS must never be operated
by inadequately trained or inexpert personnel or
personnel not in good health.

range of less than 1 metre all round the vehicle.
•
Before starting the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS, always
check that there are no people and/or animals nearby
when the lift is without vehicle.
•
When lifting only, always insert the four rubber pads
supplied on the supporting platforms between the
vehicle and the lift structure: they ensure perfect
adhesion of the vehicle to the lift structure, avoiding
damage to the vehicle's body
•
The vehicle must always be positioned on the lift so
that the weight is distributed and centred as much as
possible.
The vehicle doors must remain closed. Nothing must
protrude beyond the vehicle.
The centre of gravity of the vehicle must fall as near as
possible to the centre of the lift.
•
Before lowering the lift, always check that there is
nothing below and around the vehicle and remove if
necessary.
•
Always check that the base of the lift where the safety
hook engages is free from all obstructions.
•
Before lowering, always make sure that there are no
pipes, hoses, or power tool cables in the area that
may be crushed.

lifting vehicles within the capacity limits given in the
manufacturer's capacity table
•
The MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS has been designed and
built to operate indoors only, and must be housed in a
place protected from rain and ice.
