4.2.3 SETTING THE MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS TO THE
SAFETY POSITION
WARNING! After every operation to raise the
lift, the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS must always be
set to the safety position!
The MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS must always be set to the
safety position as follows:
Press the <descent> button (4) and keep it pressed
until the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS comes to a standstill
on the mechanical safety stops.

4.2.4 LOWERING THE MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS

WARNING! Before beginning, check that below
and around there are no persons, animals or
things which, in the event of the vehicle falling
off, could be trapped or crushed.
WARNING! Before beginning the lowering
operation, makes sure that there are no fl exible
pipes or power tool cables in the area that may
be crushed.
The lift can be lowered in two ways:
a)
DESCENT AS FAR AS FIRST SECTION (pull bar
insertion position).
b) COMPLETE DESCENT (to the fl oor).
DESCENT AS FAR AS FIRST SECTION
To lower the lift as far as the fi rst section, proceed as
follows:
Press the <ascent> button (5) and keep it pressed until
the mechanical safety is released.
Press the mechanical safety release button (6)
Use your other hand to press the <descent> button
(4).
Keep both hands on the controls until the MINIBENCH-
MAXIPLUS stops completely.
COMPLETE DESCENT
To fully lower the lift, proceed as follows:
Press the <ascent> button (5) and keep it pressed until
the mechanical safety is released.
Press the mechanical safety release button (7) and
use your other hand to press the <descent> button
(4).
Keep both hands on the controls until the MINIBENCH-
MAXIPLUS rests completely on the fl oor.
Once the descent has been completed, press the
mushroom-shaped button (1) before leaving the
control console.
WARNING! If a dangerous situation occurs,
immediately press the red emergency stop
mushroom-shaped button.

4.3. USING THE MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS WITH
THE PULL BAR
When you wish to use the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS with
the pull arm, proceed as follows:
Lower the lift as far as the fi rst section.
Take the pull arm from where it had been temporally
positioned and place it on the front or back of the lift
where the support is located and push it in to insert
the block in its housing
Check that the mobile platform is fully lowered.
Power the control unit by means of the switch on the
power distribution board.
Place the vehicle on the lift mobile platform.
Position the vehicle in order that the heavy axle is on
the -A- side of the lift (see fi g.8).
Any doors must be closed and there must be no objects
protruding from the vehicle.
WARNING! Remember that when parts of the
vehicle are dismantled the centre of gravity is
altered.This must be taken into account before
positioning the vehicle on the lift.
The rear supports must always be left locked,
whereas the front supports must be adjusted and
locked in position as required by the vehicle resting
on the lift.
Insert the 4 clamps in the slots provided in the
platforms and adjust them crosswise according to the
width of the vehicle body tightening points.
Lock the fi xing screws of the front supports before
beginning to lift the vehicle.
