SPEKTRUM DX18t • TRANSMITTER INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Stepping Events can be used to provide voice alerts when a switch is moved stepping through
a list of events. Begin by selecting the switch desired to trigger each step through the list
(when the switch is triggered as selected, the system will move to the next item on the list
going through the list of user-defined selections one by one.) Auto-Cycle can be selected to
Inhibit or Active. If inhibited, the system will go through the list 1 time only, if the switch is trig-
gered again when at the final item in the list, it will not begin at the top of the list. If Active, the
system will restart at the beginning of the list after the last item on the list with the next switch
trigger. Steps is used to select the number of items on the list for the system to call. This can
be set from 0 to 16. So there can be up to 16 items called to the pilot triggered by the switch
selected. Next select the alert to be spoken for each stepped event on the list as desired. A
variety of alerts can be chosen from the list including telemetry alerts and a variety of flight
conditions and commands.
Press here to enter the System List from the Function list without turning the transmitter off.
A Caution screen will appear that warns that RF will be disabled (the transmitter will no longer
transmit). Press YES if you are sure and want to access the System List. If you are not sure,
press NO to exit to the main screen and continue operation.
If you do not press YES or NO, the system will exit to the main screen and continue
operation within approximately 10 seconds.
WARNING: Do not press YES unless the model is turned off or the
model is secured.
The Monitor screen displays the servo positions for each channel graphically and numerically.
This is useful to verify programming functions, trim settings, mix directions, etc. The numeric
value is directly relative to the travel adjust and mix values (e.g., 100% travel adjust equals
100% value in the Monitor).
Use of the X-Plus Monitor requires X-Plus to be active. The X-Plus Monitor screen displays
the output position for each X-Plus channel graphically and numerically. This is useful to verify
programming functions, trim settings, mix directions, etc. The numeric value is directly relative
to the travel adjust and mix values (e.g., 100% travel adjust equals 100% value in the X-Plus
Monitor). The X-Plus Monitor shows the additional channels and requires servos which can
be connected to the optional X-Plus module and an X-Plus-capable receiver. X+1 and X+2
channels also serve as the monitor for channels 11 and 12 on a 12 channel receiver.
CAUTION: Do NOT connect throttle or any primary control sur f ace
to the X-Plus Module.
