Zweckbestimmung
Name: AtmoSafe
Hauptfunktion: Rauchgasabsaugsystem für den Einsatz in
Verbindung mit Rauch und Gas erzeugenden medizinischen
Geräten wie Laser, Hochfrequenz Chirurgie Geräte, Kauter,
Oszillationssägen und für Verfahren wie z.B. die Knochenze-
mententfernung mit Ultraschallreinigung in der Revisionsen-
doprothetik.
Med. Indikation / Anwendung: Absaugen und Filtern von ver-
dampften Abbrand Produkten, die bei thermisch chirurgischen
Eingriffen durch das Vaporisieren von Gewebe entstehen.
Absaugen und Filtern von Aerosol, das von Oszillationssägen
emittiert wird (z.B. in der Prosektur).
Absaugen und Filtern von Dämpfen, die bei Anrühren und Ver-
arbeiten von zweikomponentigen Klebstoffen und Zementen
entstehen (z.B. in der Implantat Chirurgie).
Spezifi kation der Hauptfunktion: Der AtmoSafe saugt die
mit Rauchgasen belastete Luft über eine am chirurgischen
Anwendungsteil befi ndliche Vorrichtung oder über einen mit
der Hand separat gehaltenen und dem Anwendungsteil nahe-
gebrachten Schlauch an. Die angesaugte Luft wird dann mittels
eines Hochleistungsfi lters von den Gefahrstoffen gereinigt und
wieder der Umluft zugeführt. Die Reinigung der Luft bezieht
sich auf Bestandteile wie Aerosole, die mittels eines ULPA-
Hochleistungspartikelfi lters zurückgehalten werden.
Anwendungsorgan: Kein spezifi sches Anwendungsorgan
Anwendungsdauer: Zur kurzzeitigen Anwendung (< 30 Tage)
am Patienten.
Anwendungsumgebung: Anwendungsumgebung ist der
klinische, ambulante sowie niedergelassene Bereich. Die
Anwendung darf nur durch medizinisch geschultes und ein-
gewiesenes Personal erfolgen.
Kontraindikation: Keine Verwendung außerhalb medizini-
scher Bereiche: Kein Absaugen von brennbaren, explosiven
Flüssigkeiten und / oder Gasen.

Sterilität: Nicht erforderlich
Einmalprodukt / Wiederaufbereitung: Das Gerät sowie
das Zubehör ist teilweise wiederverwendbar. Informationen
zur Aufbereitung, Reinigung und Desinfektion sind in dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung.

Intended use
Name: AtmoSafe
Main functions: Smoke extraction system for use in con-
junction with smoke or gas producing medical appliances,
like laser and high-frequency surgical appliances, cauterisers,
oscillation saw, and methods like the removal of bone cement
in revision endoprosthetics.
Med. indications/ application: For extraction and fi ltering
of evaporated burn-off products arising with thermal medical
operations by vaporisation of tissue.
For extraction and fi ltering of aerosols, emitted by oscillation
saws (e.g. in autopsy).
For extraction and fi ltering of vapours arising when two-
component adhesives or cement mixtures are mixed and used
(e.g. in implant surgical work).
Specifi cation of the main function: Aspiration of the air,
contaminated with smoke, through a device positioned at the
surgical application part or through a separate hose, manually
held near the application part. By means of a high-effi ciency

fi lter the drawn-in air is cleaned of the hazardous matter und
returned again into the ambient air. Cleaning of the air refers
to constituents like aerosols, which is being retained by means
of an ULPA high-effi ciency particle fi lter.

Application site: The application site is the clinical, outpatient
as well as the practices area. The application of the device
may only be performed by medical trained and introduced staff.
Contraindications: No application outside of the medical
sector. No suction of fl ammable, corrosive and explosive

Utilisation
Nom : AtmoSafe
Fonction principale : Système d'aspiration des gaz et fu-
mées, relié à des appareils médicaux provocants de la fumée
ou des gaz tels que les lasers, les appareils de chirurgie haute
fréquence, les cautères, les scies à oscillations et les procédés
tels que le retrait de ciment osseux par nettoyage aux ultra-
sons dans le cas de révisions d'endoprothèses.
Indication médicale / Utilisation : Aspiration et fi ltrage de
produits gazeux résiduels provenant d'interventions chirurgi-
cales thermiques, en raison de la vaporisation de tissus.
Aspiration et fi ltrage d'aérosols émis par des scies à oscillati-
ons (par ex. en cas de prosection).
Aspiration et fi ltrage de vapeurs provenant de la préparation
ou de l'utilisation de colles et ciments à deux composants (par
ex. dans la chirurgie d'implants).
Spécifi cation de la fonction principale : L'AtmoSafe aspire
l'air chargé de fumées par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif fi xé sur
la pièce d'utilisation chirurgicale ou par une pièce d'utilisation
séparée tenue en main et les tuyaux qui s'y rapportent. L'air
aspiré est ensuite, par l'intermédiaire d'un fi ltre très puissant,
nettoyé de ses produits dangereux et reconduit dans l'air
