Verify that both upper and lower tyre beads and
rim bead seat have been properly lubricated with
an approved mounting paste.
- Make sure that the wheel is secured to the table
top with inside clamping (Fig. 32a).
- Bring the horizontal arm in its work position (Fig.
32b).
- Lower the vertical rod until it touches the rim
(Fig. 32c).
- Lock the vertical rod in this position.
- Remove valve core and connect the Doyfe con-
nector on the air hose to the valve stem (Fig. 32d).
- Hold the tyre with your hands and lift
it until there is a slight gap between
the lower bead and bottom edge of
the rim in order to close the upper
bead and the top of the rim (fig. 32d).
- Fully press the inflation pedal down
for a short period to the bead seating
position (fig. 32f). The tyre will expand
and the beads will seat.
- Release the wheel from the sliding clamps on the
table top (Fig. 32e).
- Inflate the tyre by operating the proper pedal (Fig.
32d) in inflation position (average) (Fig. 32g) at short
intervals; check the pressure gauge frequently to make
sure that the pressure NEVER exceeds the maximum
pressure specified by the tyre manufacturer.
