6 Commissioning
6.1.1 Mounting after transport
The cross slide is packed in a space-saving position for transport.
Prior to transport, the driving carriage of the vertical unit has been moved into its end position (1). The horizontal unit must
be mounted in the middle of the axial length (prior to final mounting on the welding system).

Transporting the cross slide
1 Slightly loosen the cylinder head screws (8 pieces) in the clamp (+).
2 Move the linear axis to the middle.
3 Retighten the cylinder head screws (7 ± 0.5 Nm).
NOTICE
• The directions of movement of the axes must correspond to the control software.

Mounting the cross slide
4 Mount the cross slide as shown on the stickers on the carriage housing.
5 Remove the right/left stickers (1) once the cross slide is mounted.
