AutoGuide Plus
1 Identification
AutoGuide Plus is used for refitting or retrofitting customized machines, typically those for circumferential welding or
longitudinal welding. It is a NON-CONTACT system in relation to the component's surface that uses the TH6 laser sensor.
The AutoGuide system control automatically functions as the welding torch's arc vertical and horizontal sensors in the joint.
Any geometric tolerances in the welded seam lines are detected by the TH6 laser sensor. Together with servomotors,
PLC software automatically readjusts the welding torch position to accommodate for the determined geometric deviation.
AutoGuide Plus is a "partly completed machine" as defined by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Certain risks can arise from operating the system without additional surge protection from the integrator. These risks must be
eliminated by integrating the ROBiPAK control module in a higher-level complete system.
 14.1 Declaration of incorporation on page EN-25
These assembly instructions describe only the installation of the AutoGuide Plus in a welding cell. The AutoGuide Plus must
only be operated using original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts.
