DEMOUNTING
TUBELESS AND
SUPERSINGLE TYRES
Break the front part of the tyre, keeping
the bead pushed in the well, lubricate
the shoulder of the rim (Fig. 36) and the
bead with grease.
Repeat the bead breaking operation in
the rear (Fig. 37).
N.B.: If the rim has a 15° sloping shoulder,
continue the bead breaking procedure
(Fig. 38) until the tyre has come com-
pletely out of the rim (tyres up to 13" in
width only).
WARNING: In compliance with the in-
dications of the tyre manufacturers,
this procedure is not recommended:
beads must be broken one at a time,
proceeding as described for agricultural
wheels.
To mount particular rigid super single
tyres and tubeless tyres on rims with
very tall, even shoulders, lubricate
thoroughly and proceed as described for
agricultural wheels.

MOUNTING TUBELESS AND SUPERSINGLE TYRES

When mounting tubeless tyres, tighten the pliers (Fig. 33) on the front edge of the rim,
place both beads beyond the pliers, position the tool with the reference flush with
the rim edge and turn the turntable clockwise. Pay attention to the correct position
of the beads in the rim well.
In this way, the tyre will be completely mounted.
N.B. Lubricate the beads and the rim shoulder thoroughly to ensure that the tyre is
mounted correctly and without damage.
For the separate mounting of the beads (for tubeless and super single tyres) proceed
as described in the "MOUNTING AGRICULTURAL WHEELS" chapter.
