Editing
Assemble editing using the VTR
unit controls
New scenes from a number of video recordings can
be added onto the end of a recording without
disturbing the scene-to-scene continuity or excessive
erasure.
Preparations:
e@ Connect the player deck and the VTR unit as
shown in the figure.
® Set the INPUT SELECT switch to the position
which corresponds to the connectors on the player
VTR to which the unit connected.
S-VIDEO: When the unit has been connected to the
S-VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN connectors

LINE:
e Set the DETAIL/NOR/EDIT switch to EDIT.
€ Set the Hi-Fi REC switch to ON. Hi-Fi sound will
not be edited if this switch is set to OFF.
® Insert the pre-recorded cassette tape into the player
VTR, and insert the recording cassette tape into the
recorder VTR.
