Editing
Editing using an editing controller.
If the
AG-A571
editing
controller
(purchased
separately) is used, both a player VTR and recorder
VTR can be controlled directly from the controller to
perform
assemble
editing,
insert
editing,
audio
dubbing and other such operations both speedily and
efficiently.
Preparations:
e As shown in the figure, connect the player VTR and
recorder VTR to the AG-A571 editing controller.
e Set the INPUT
SELECT
switch to the position
which corresponds to the connectors on the player
VTR to which the unit is connected.
S-VIDEO: When the unit has been connected to the
S-VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN connectors
LINE:
When the unit has been connected to the
VIDEO IN and AUDIO IN connectors
ө Set the DETAIL/NOR/EDIT switch to EDIT.
ө Set the Hi-Fi REC switch to ON.
Hi-Fi sound will
not be edited if this switch is set to OFF.
e Use the DISPLAY button to set the display to clock
or counter.
e Insert the pre-recorded cassette tape into the player
VTR, and insert the recording cassette tape into the
recorder VTR.
e Set the SHUTTLE ring to the "ПО" (center) position,
and set the MODE LOCK switch to ON.
Operation:
Control both the player and recorder VTRs using the
AG-A571 editing controller.

carefully.
Note:
Upon completion of editing, the DETAIL/NOR/EDIT
switch must be returned to the NOR position so that
normal operation can be performed.
