Ш Counter display and editing accuracy
Bear
in mind that the counter value
may
be
slightly off when an operation accompanied by a
change in mode such as from CUE to REV, REV
to CUE or REV to PLAY has been performed.
Use the appropriate buttons to activate the following
functions.
è Normal playback
® Cue (playback combined with fast forwarding)
e Review (playback combined with rewinding)
e Still-picture playback
e Shuttle operations which vary the playback speed
in small increments between still-picture playback
and cue or review
e Jog operations which accurately locate a particular
image
The VTR cylinder continues to rotate for about 20
minutes
even
after
the
stop
mode
has
been
established.
This enables playback pictures to be
viewed instantly even from the stop mode during this
time.
Playback procedure
1. Insert the pre-recorded cassette tape.
If a cassette tape has already been inserted, press
the POWER button to turn on the unit's power.
Normal playback
` 2. Press the PLAY button to start normal playback.

Cue/review
3. The tape is cued or reviewed while the FF or REW
button is held down.
ө This function is useful for locating a specific
scene during normal playback.
@ When the FF or REW
button is pressed for an
instant during normal playback, cue or review is
started.
Normal playback is restored when the PLAY
button is pressed.
