Timer recording procedure
1. Press the PROG/CHECK button to select the timer
program number.
e Timer program number "1" appears.
(Each
time
the
PROG/CHECK
button
pressed, the timer program number changes.)

. Press the TRACKING/V-LOCK [+] or [—] button to
set the day on
which
the timer-programmed
recording is to start, and then press the NEXT
button.
e For daily programmed recording, keep pressing
the TRACKING/V-LOCK
[-] button until the
setting for the desired daily recording mode
appears.
e For
weekly
programmed
recording,
keep
pressing the TRACKING/V-LOCK
[-] button
until the setting
for the day of the week
concerned appears.
. Press the TRACKING/V-LOCK [+] or [-] button to
set the hour of the start time, and then press the
NEXT button.
. Press the TRACKING/V-LOCK [+] or [-] button to
set the minute of the start time, and then press the
NEXT button.
. Press the TRACKING/V-LOCK
[4] or [-] button to
set the hour of the end time, and then press the
NEXT button.
. Press the TRACKING/V-LOCK [+] or [-] button to
set the minute of the end time.
The NEXT button
need not be pressed.
e Repeat steps 7 to 6 if other timer recordings are
to be programmed in succession.
. Press the TIMER
REC button to turn the timer-
programmed recording ON.
e "Œm"
appears
on
the
display,
and
normal
operations can no longer be conducted.
€ To
conduct
a normal
operation,
press
the
TIMER
REC
button
to
turn
the
timer-
programmed
recording OFF.
If the button is
pressed again, the timer will be turned ON.

Checking a timer-programmed
recording
Press the PROG/CHECK button to select the number
of the timer program to be checked.
The date and
start and end times are displayed
for about
12
seconds.
Canceling a timer-programmed
recording
1. Press the TIMER
REC
button to turn the timer-
programmed recording OFF.
(Check that "[U" does not appear on the display.)
2. Press
the PROG/CHECK
button
to select the
number of the timer program to be canceled.
3. Press the TRACKING/V-LOCK
[+] and [-] buttons
together for at least 3 seconds.
Note:
|
Data, which is not cleared even after the start time
and date in the programmed data have come and
gone, is automatically cleared when the power is
turned OFF at any time past 4:00 AM two days later.
