7.1 - PRELIMINARY CHECKS
As soon as the control unit is electrically powered, you are advised to
carry out some simple tests:
01. Check that the LED "C" on the control unit (fig. 31) is flashing stead-
ily, at a speed of around one flash per second.
02. Check on the KS100 key selector switch (if there is one), that the
night light is on.
03. If the above conditions are not satisfied, it is advisable to switch off
the power supply to the control unit and check the electrical connec-
tions more carefully. For other useful information see also chapters
10.5 "Troubleshooting" and 10.6 "Diagnostics and signals".
7.2 - RECOGNITION OF THE DEVICES
WARNINGS:
• To locate the Leds and keys mentioned in this manual on the PH100W
and FL100W devices, see fig. 32.
• For procedures requiring battery insertion (or removal) in the various
devices, see fig. 33 for PH100W and fig. 34 for FL100W.
• All programming phases end automatically, 2 minutes following the last
action. Any changes made up to that point are stored in any case.
This procedure makes it possible to recognise wireless devices with the
Power&Free System and those connected to the STOP input.
IMPORTANT! - During installation, the wireless devices must have mem-
ories which contain no data whatsoever, as per factory setting.
01. Press and hold P1 on the control unit and release it once the P1 Led
is lit with a solid green light: now, the unit is ready to acquire wireless
devices.
02. Insert the batteries into the wireless device (fig. 33 for PH100W and
fig. 34 for FL100W) or, if the batteries are already inserted, press and
release "T" on the device (fig. 32): the control unit will emit a brief
sound (beep) to confirm acquisition and on the device, the Led "A"
(fig. 32) will begin to flash green and the Led "B" (fig. 32) will begin
to flash, until the procedure is complete.
