Vorsicht
Unfallgefahr
Der Boden der Kabine ist frei von Gegen-
ständen zu halten. Sonst besteht die
Gefahr, dass der Fußschalter (1) betätigt
oder verklemmt wird.
Reversierbremse
Notausbremse
Durch Drücken des Notaus-Schalters (3)
wird sofort die mechanisch arbeitende
Federkraftbremse die den Fahrmotor
abbremst, aktiviert.
Das hat erheblichen Verschleiss zur
Folge. Aus diesem Grund darf der Not-
Ausschalter nur in wirklichen Notfällen
zum Einsatz gebracht werden.

Fahrerschutzdach
Vorsicht
Das Fahrerschutzdach des hier beschrie-
benen Fahrzeugs ist nicht geeignet zum
Schutz gegen besonders kleine Gegen-
stände, Papierrollen oder verpacktes Holz.
Sind die genannten Gegenstände zu
transportieren, ist das Fahrerschutzdach
entsprechend zu modifizieren.

Braking system
Service brake switch
The foot switch (1) is provided in the cen-
ter of the cab floor. It must be operated to
release the electromagnetic brake, and
simultaneously forces the operator to stay
centred in the cab.
If the braking process is initiated by relea-
sing the pressure on the foot switch, the
generator brake initially cuts in, while elec-
trical braking takes place of the drive
motor. Towards the end of the braking
process, the spring-powered brake addi-
tionally takes effect. The service brake
adapts automatically to the speed switch-
over (Optispeed).
Caution
Danger for acidents
The floor of the operator's cab must be
kept free af any objects. Otherwise there
is a danger that the dead man brake (1)
could be accidentally actuated or become
jammed.
Reversing brake
When the operating lever is changed over
from one travel direction to the other (2),
an electronic braking operation is activa-
ted. Once the vehicle has been braked to
a standstill, it accelerates in the opposite
direction without delay.
Emergency brake
By pressing the emergency stop switch (3)
the mechanical spring-loaded brake,
which brakes the travel motor, is activated
immediately. On some trucks the load
wheels are also hydraulically braked
(optional for mechanically-driven trucks).
This emergency process causes signifi-
cant wear and therefore the emergency
stop switch should only be used in real
emergencies.
Steering system
The steering system operates fully elec-
tric. By turning the steering knob (4), the
operator specifies the required steering
angle.
Driver's overhead guard
Caution
The driver's overhead guard of the vehicle
described here is not suitable for protec-
tion against particularly small objects,
paper rolls or packaged wood. If this type
of object has to be transported, the driver-
's overhead guard must be modified
accordingly.
