f) Code for silent alarm (duress alarm)
If you are forced to enter an access code under duress, you can trigger a silent alarm (duress
alarm) by entering a special code.
When an alarm system is connected to the combination lock, this code activates output #1 and
the "DU OUT" output, which triggers a silent alarm (e.g. voice message sent via telephone).
This feature is not affected by other settings and is permanently enabled.
You can save up to 10 different duress codes.
Saving a duress code:
• The combination lock must be in programming mode (see section 12. a) for details).
• Enter programming code
• Enter one of the 10 available memory slot numbers (
• Enter a 4 - 8 digit personal duress code (e.g.
Important!
When the "Auto entry" feature is enabled (see section 12. m), all codes must be the
same length (e.g. if the master code is 5 digits, the user codes must also be 5 digits).
• Press the
button to confirm your entry. The combination lock will beep twice and the mid-
dle LED will flash two times to indicate that the duress code has been saved.
