Triggering the silent alarm (duress alarm):
If someone forces you enter the access code under duress, you can enter the duress code to
trigger a silent alarm on the connected alarm system.
In the previous example, the duress code was set to 7878.
Enter the following code:
You do not need to press the
section 12. m).
In "Auto entry" mode, each code must be the same length (e.g. if the master code is
5 digits, the user codes must also be 5 digits).
Output #1 will be activated to open the door – the intruder will not know that you have entered a
special code. The "DU OUT" output will also be activated, which will trigger a silent alarm on the
connected alarm system (e.g. a telephone dialler).
Turning off the silent alarm (duress alarm):
To turn off the silent alarm (and disable the "DU OUT" output), enter a standard user code or
the superuser code.
For security reasons, entering the duress code again will not reset the "DU OUT"
output.
Deleting the duress code:
You can also overwrite existing duress codes with a new code.
