PRODUCT INFORMATION
Description
The Franklin Electric SubDrive Connect Plus product family includes variable frequency drives (VFD)
designed to control and protect three-phase motors up to 30 HP. These drives provide
enhanced pump performance for commercial, agricultural, and irrigation water system
applications in a small, self-contained NEMA 3R package. Many advanced features are included
that are typically available only in large, panel-based, general-purpose industrial drives.
The SubDrive Connect Plus adjusts motor and pump speeds to maintain constant water pres-
sure, even as user demands (water flow) change. Additional pumping application features
include broken pipe protection, pipe fill mode, and multidrive/multi pump capabilities.
Setup is fast and easy, using simple DIP switches and an LCD menu with push buttons—no
complicated programming is required. The drive can also be configured and monitored using
integrated Bluetooth and the SubDrive Connect Plus mobile app.
The SubDrive Connect Plus series is designed to operate three-phase motors with three-phase
incoming power. 230V models also provide the capability to operate a three-phase motor with
single-phase incoming power when three-phase is not available.
