Pressure Tank
1. Pressure Gauge
Before the MultiDrive function will operate, each drive must be configured individually using the SubDrive
Connect Plus mobile app. The Master drive must be configured as VFD 1 and the initial Lag drive must be
configured as VFD 2, and so on for remaining drives and pumps.
When using the MultiDrive function with pressure transducers, the Setpoint of VFD 1 must be set to the
desired system pressure. The remaining drives are then configured the same as VFD 1.
IMPORTANT: Calibrate all sensors the same to prevent rapid cycling, inconsistent wear, or premature motor
failure.
Communications
MultiDrive Terminal Block wiring for communications should be from drive to drive in a (parallel) chain, as
shown above.
•
The termination DIP switches should be On (up) on both ends of the network.
•
The shield wires should be connected together and grounded on one end only.
