MultiDrive Feature (mobile app only)
MultiDrive Parameter Programming
Set the following parameters to enable a multi-drive network:
MultiDrive Set: This setting defines the number of drives in the system, including Lead and Lags.
MultiDrive ID: This setting is used to assign a unique identification number (VFD 1-8) to each drive in the
system. IDs must be sequential without gaps. The Master will only recognize numbers up to the total.
Lag Start Freq: When Lead is running at a higher frequency than Lag Start Freq and Master pressure is less
than 95% of Setpoint for the duration of Lag Start Delay, then Master will command the next Lag drive to
start. The values of these settings on the Master are used and not the other drives. However, because the
Master could change, the best practice is to set all drives the same.
Lag Stop Freq: When Lead is running at a lower frequency than Lag Stop Freq and Master pressure is
greater than 98% of Setpoint for the duration of Lag Stop Delay, then Master will command the last Lag
drive to stop. The values of these settings on the Master are used and not the other drives.
Lead/Lag ID: This (read only) value identifies the role of each drive in the network (Lead, Lag #, or Not
Ready) and is assigned by the Master.
Alternation: On the Master, this setting determines if and how the Lead role will be rotated through the net-
work. If enabled, the Lead can be alternated either at a set time interval, or whenever the Master power is
cycled.
Alternation Timer: On the Master, this setting determines the length of time before the Lead alternates if
set to Timer.
