Tilt the Support Top
NOTE: For bariatric patients, we recommend that you install three supine access tops
(A-70404) to help support the patient during the tilt procedure.
WARNING:
Before you adjust the Allen Advance Table or use the tilt feature, make sure that
the brakes are locked, the patient is secured to the support top and is fully
prepared for the movement, and the Allen Advance Table is free of objects that
could interfere with the adjustment. Otherwise, patient fall, injury, or equipment
damage could occur.
1.
Make sure that—
• The brakes are locked (the locked indicator on the
Allen Advance Table display is green).
• The patient is secured to the support top and is fully
prepared for the adjustment.
NOTE: We recommend that you use the two large security straps to secure the patient to
the support top.
• The Allen Advance Table is free of objects that could interfere with the
adjustment.
WARNING:
Observe lines closely during articulations. Always use good line management
techniques. Failure to do so could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment
damage.
2.
Press and hold the applicable tilt control until the support
top is at the correct angle. When you release the control,
the support top will lock at that angle.
The tilt indicator on the display will show how far the
support top is tilted to the left or right.
3.
To return the support top to the flat position, press and hold the opposite tilt control
until the top is no longer tilted. The tilt indicator on the display will be in the center of
the tilt indicator Area and the tilt level indicator will be green.
