use of inline fittings that does not comply with the
instructions could present risks to people, nearby
installations and the environment.

The S030 fitting is intended to measure the flow rate
of clean fluids in the piping thanks to its paddle wheel.
The S030 fitting may be combined to an electronic
module for displaying, monitoring or controlling
the flow rate, or a transmitter fitted with a bajonett
connection.
•
Use this fitting in compliance with the specifications
and conditions of commissioning and use given in the
contractual documents, in this user manual and in the
user manual of the electronic device which is fitted into
it.
•
Safe and trouble-free operation of the fitting depends
on its proper transport, storage and installation, as well
as careful operation and maintenance.
•
Only use this fitting as intended.
Restraints
Observe any existing restraints when the fitting is exported.
Foreseeable misuse

Do not use the fittings in PVC or PP in explosive
atmospheres.
Various dangerous situations
To avoid injury take care to:

prevent any power supply switch-on.

ried out by qualified, authorised personnel in posses-
sion of the appropriate tools.

guarantee a set or controlled restarting of the process,
after a power supply interruption.
