The type S030 fitting has been developed with
due consideration given to accepted safety rules
and is state-of-the-art. However, risks may arise.

deScRipTion

Area of application
The S030 fitting is intended to measure the flow rate of
clean fluids on DN6 to DN65 pipes thanks to its paddle
wheel. It must be combined with an electronic device (indi-
cator, on/off flow sensor or transmitter) which converts the
pulse frequency due to paddle-wheel rotation.
The electronic device can be removed without opening the
piping or stopping the process.
measuring principle
The fluid flowing in the piping makes the paddle-wheel
turn. The paddle-wheel rotational frequency f is propor-
tional to the flow rate.
