8.1 Slack rope switch
For guided loads, a safety device
must be provided which switches the
winch off in case of slack rope to
avoid falling down of the load.
As option, the electric winch BETA 2.1 EL
may be equipped with slack rope switch.

fer to special page B04.01.401-600

Mounting position:
The position of the rope pressure drum is de-
pendent on the rope inlet.
The ideal mounting position is when the roll af-
fects the rope shortly behind the rope inlet.
When operating, the roll of the rope pressure
drum must not striate anywhere.
Mounting instructions:
The pretension of the contact pressure is real-
ized by twisting the axle. The pretension angle
depends on the installation size, the used rope
and the mounting position.
The pretension has to be selected so that the
roller presses hard on the rope. The wire rope
may not be squeezed.
After the pretension, screw the 2 clamping
screws (21) in the consoles.
