2.5.1.1 Setting Digitial / Delta
Address.
Decoder 1
(locomotive decoder in the tender):
1. Remove the tender insert
(see page 61).
2. Set the coding switches on the
digital decoder for the desired
address according to the table
on this page.

the factory set for address 01.

Important:
Do not confuse the address switches
on the digital decoder with the 8 co-
ding switches on the sound effects
circuit. If these 8 coding switches are
accidentally changed, it may cause
damage in the electronic circuit!
Switches 9 + 10 (designated with 0)
must always be set at "off".
Suitable Delta addresses:
24, 60, 72, or 78.
Decoder 2
(function decoder in the locomotive):
1. Loosen the pilot truck on the front.
The function decoder for the loco-
motive is located under it in the
locomotive (see page 62).

Important: The function decoder only
has 8 coding switches. Only these
8 switches from thet table are there-
fore relevant for setting the address.
Tip: The upper part of the packaging
for the locomotive can serve as a
cradle for it.
Decoder 2 in this model comes from
the factory set for address 02.
