10. PROPER USE

Primary medical evaluations must be carried out before intervening on the patient.
Before using Fixo Kid, carefully read the instructions for the device with which it is to be used.
7. Reposition the strap around the stretcher back in such a way that it is perpendicular to the stretcher's perimeter frame.
8. Fasten the lateral straps (no. 6 section 8) to the stretcher frame over the side rail and adjust the tension so that they are of equal intensity on both sides and to ensure
the device is not moving.
9. Fold the groin strap over the patient's abdomen, ensuring that the padded part is well positioned.
10. Pass the patient's arm through the gap between the right chest belt and the right shoulder belt (No. 5 and No. 3 section 8 respectively), then insert the half-buckle (No.
11 section 8) into the central buckle (No. 10 section 3.2).
11. Repeat the same operation for the left side.
12. Ensure that the two half-buckles are correctly coupled and inserted.
13. After checking that the padded parts are properly positioned to ensure the patient's comfort, adjust the tension of all the belts (shoulder, chest and groin) to achieve
an effective retention system.
14. To remove the patient from the device, use the two red buttons on the half-buckles and remove the groin, chest and shoulder straps from the patient's body. Then lift
the patient out of the device according to emergency procedures.
