SPECIFIC WARNINGS

To use the product, you must also have read, understood and carefully follow all the instructions for use.
Never apply a weight greater than the maximum capacity of the device. When determining the applicable weight, the operator should consider the weight of the
patient, device, equipment, accessories and any other object attached to the stretcher.
Perform simulations of use with a stretcher and a patient simulating load and accessories before putting the device into service..
• Never leave the patient on the device unsupervised, as they could get injured.
• Do not drag the device.
• Hold the stretcher firmly on the device if the patient is lying on it..

No residual risks, or rather risks that could arise despite compliance with all warnings in these instructions for use, have been identified.

PROPER USE

Find a level area where you can place the device to ensure its stability.
To open the device:
Unhook the belt buckle that keeps the device closed, then spread the two halves
of the frame apart.
Open the support stand by turning it outwards.

Tilting supports – Made of aluminium and only found on the Sherpa Plus; when extracted they allow

one side of the device to be raised by a few centimetres.

Separate the two halves of the device completely, push the red sleeve in the
direction slightly raising the joints, then release the sleeve when the joints are
aligned on the same axis.
Once the stand is fully open, keep the support stand (1) pressed to the ground with
one foot, raise the device by about 5 cm by grasping the curved parts of the upper
frame (2) then, with the other foot, press on the joint so as to lock the stand in the
open position (3). Repeat the same manoeuvre on the opposite side of the device.
