User manual
There are many ways to have an always changing training with this computer. It depends on you
whether it is for endeavoured condition training or just for an easy cycling to be in motion or to
reduce fat.
1. „Manuell" (Manual)
In manual mode you can adjust the load manually.
After selecting „Manual" (confirm with „MODE"-button) you can select the initial tension level (use
"UP", "DOWN" and "MODE" to select). Press START/STOP. You may change the tension level at
any time during exercise with "UP" and "DOWN" in 32 levels.
You may also input target values for the following function values:
a.
TIME (Training time between 0:00 and max. 99:00 Min.)
b.
DISTANCE (Distance from 0 to max. 99.90 km)
c.
CALORIE (desired calories burned in one training from 0 to max. 999 kcal.)
d.
PULSE (Pulse frequency from 30 to max. 240 bpm)
e.
WATT (Watt can be preset in steps of 5 to max. 350 Watt)
To input a target value, do not press "Start/Stop" after selecting the initial tension level,
but instead use "UP", "DOWN" and "MODE" to input the target values. After your input, press
"Start"/Stop". If you input several target values the computer will make a certain sound when you
reach the first one of these target values.
This signal is a multiple beeping. In this moment the computer stops counting. Press the
Start/Stop-button and go on with the training and the computer counts again upwards. To interrupt
your workout press the „Start/Stop"-button.
If you press the Reset-button it is possible – but only during pause mode (training break)-
to change the program mode or shift between the 4 main modes.
If you press the Reset-button longer than 2 seconds the above mentioned restart of the computer
will happen.
Within the manual mode 1 you can preset WATT to change into the watt-controlled mode.
Adjust the watt value (standard value is 120) in the display with the UP/DOWN and MODE
button to your individual needs. Press Start/Stop to begin the workout.
If you preset watt it is not possible to change the tension level in the manual mode as
usual, but the computer will control it automatically according to the target value.
Furthermore there are some symbols on the display you have to observe:
You need to slow down the training speed.
You need to speed up the training.
This is an additional symbol to remind you that you are correctly pedalling
---
If this symbol appears, the actual watt perforamce deviates more than 50%
from the target value
If you go on pedalling with the same (inadequate) speed the computer will make an alarm
sound after 3 minutes. The training will be stopped automatically.
The tension level will be reduced to 1 (very easy) and WATT to 0. You can interrupt the alarm
also by pressing any button.
