SOUND ADJUSTMENTS

Graphic equalizer

Selects a sound equalization curve to match the music type.
Press JOG MODE on the Stereo Integrated Amplifier repeatedly
so that "EQ OFF" (or one of the equalization curves) appears,
and turn VOLUME/MULTI JOG to select the desired
equalization curve.
- ROCK: Powerful sound emphasizing treble and bass
- POP: More presence in the vocals and midrange
- JAZZ: Accented lower frequencies for jazz-type music
When using the remote control, press EQ repeatedly.
To cancel equalization
Select "EQ OFF" in the above procedure.
B B E
Enhances high frequencies for sound clarity.
Press JOG MODE on the Stereo Integrated Amplifier repeatedly
so that "BBE" appears, and turn VOLUME/MULTI JOG to
select one of the three enhancement levels or the off position.
•If the sound becomes distorted with the BBE effect, cancel
the effect.
T-BASS
Enphasizes low frequencies for a powerfull sound.
Press JOG MODE on the Stereo Integrated Amplifier repeatedly
so that "T-BASS" appears, and turn VOLUME/MULTI JOG
to select one of the three enhancement levels or the off position.
When using the remote control, press T-BASS repeatedly.
•If the sound becomes distorted with the T-BASS effect, cancel
the effect.
Q SURROUND system
The Q SURROUND system built into this system uses only two
speakers at the left and right to create an atmosphere that
sounds as if you are surrounded by two front speakers and two
rear speakers.
Press QSURROUND on the Stereo Integrated Amplifier. "ON
QSURROUND" runs through the display, and the Q
SURROUND system is activated. The QSURROUND indicator
also lights up.
When using the remote control, hold down SHIFT and press
SURROUND.
To cancel the Q SURROUND effect
Press QSURROUND again. "OFF QSURROUND" runs
through the display. The QSURROUND indicator goes off.
Tip:
•The Q SURROUND system does not work in monaural mode.
• When the Q SURROUND system is on, the sound may be
distorted at higher volumes. If this happens, turn the volume
down.
