Illumination
The system allows you to turn on and off the blue illumination
of each unit.

Press ENTER/ILLUMINATION (ENTER/ILLUMI on the remote
control) while the system is turned on.
Each press of the button turns on and off the illumination.
Note
Pressing ENTER/ILLUMINATION (ENTER/ILLUMI) during MD
recording* will not turn on/off the illumination but record an
index mark on the MD.
* Possible only when the AM-LM918 optional Mini Disc
Recorder is connected.

Setting the clock
1 Turn the system off.
2 Press one of the following buttons:
•SET on the Stereo Tuner
•ENTER/ILLUMINATION on the Stereo Integrated
Amplifier
•a on the remote control
Alternatively, hold down SHIFT and press CLOCK on the
remote control.
3 Within 4 seconds, press TUNING UP or DOWN
on the Stereo Tuner to set the time.
Each press changes the time in 1-minute steps.
Holding these buttons down will vary the time in 10-minute
units.
•You can use f or g on the remote control instead
of TUNING UP/DOWN.
•You can also turn VOLUME/MULTI JOG to the right to
advance the time and to the left to move the time back.
The speed with which the time changes varies according
to how fast you turn VOLUME/MULTI JOG.
4 Press one of the following buttons:
•SET on the Stereo Tuner
•ENTER/ILLUMINATION on the Stereo Integrated
Amplifier
•a on the remote control
To display the time while the power is on
Hold down SHIFT and press CLOCK on the remote control.
The time will be displayed for 4 seconds, but it cannot be
displayed during recording.
To switch to the 24-hour standard
While the time is displayed, press s on the remote control.
With each press, the clock alternates between the 12- and
24-hour standard time.
CLEAR on the Stereo Tuner is also available.
Tip:
In the 12-hour standard, "AM 12:00" indicates midnight
and "PM 12:00" noon.
If the clock display flashes when the unit is turned
off
There has been a power interruption. Reset the clock.
