When recording
Recording with the auto grouping mode set to ON
When recording from CD to MD, a group corresponding to
the recorded CD is automatically created. When recording from
other sources, contents from the beginning to the end of a
recording session make a group.

Recording is made without creating groups.

Recording tracks into an existing group
You can also record tracks into an already existing group.
When editing
You can create a group having no tracks. You can move tracks
to the group later.
When playing

There are two modes available:
Disc mode: When the system is set to the disc mode, it

For example, when play starts from the first track in the first
group, it continues to the last track in the last group.

Group mode: When the system is set to the group mode,

you can specify a group in the disc to be played.
For example, if the 3rd group is slected and play is started,
play begins with the first track in the 3rd group and ends with
the last track in the 3rd group.
