Analogue recording
1 Insert a recordable MD.
2 Turn FUNCTION to select the MD function and
then select the group mode.
3 Turn FUNCTION to select the source to be
recorded.
4 Prepare the source to be recorded.
To record a radio broadcast, tune in a desired station.
To record from a CD, insert the disc.
To record from a tape, insert the tape.
To record from connected equipment, prepare the
equipment for playback.
5 Press REC MODE (or MD REC (ANALOG) on the
remote control) repeatedly to select the recording
mode.
"RecSTEREO": standard length stereo recording mode
"Rec LP2": two times longer stereo recording
"Rec LP4": four times longer stereo recording
"Rec MONO": monaural recording
6 Press MD MODE twice (or hold down SHIFT and
press MD MODE twice on the remote control).
"Mark MODE ?" is displayed.
7 Within 8 seconds, press ENTER/ILLUMINATION
(ENTER/ILLUMI).
