1 Turn FUNCTION to select the MD function and
insert an MD.
2 Select the disc mode, and select the track to be

moved.
3 Press MD EDIT/REC repeatedly (or hold down
SHIFT and press MD EDIT repeatedly on the
remote control) to display "Move X?" (X is the
track number).
4 Within 8 seconds, press ENTER/ILLUMINATION
(or ENTER/ILLUMI on the remote control).
5 Within 8 seconds, press GROUP DIRECT (or
GROUP (DIRECT) on the remote control).
"X>? 1Gp" (X is the track number) is displayed.
6 Within 8 seconds, turn VOLUME/MULTI JOG to
specify the group number you want to move the
track to.
7 Within 8 seconds, press ENTER/ILLUMINATION
(ENTER/ILLUMI).
The track is moved to the end of the specified group.
8 Remove the MD.
"WRITING" is displayed and the data concerning the
contents of the editing are registered.

Removing a track from a group
You can remove a track from a group so that the track belongs
to no group.
