Switching between the disc mode and
the group mode
When you turn on the system and select the MD function, the
disc mode is selected.
In the disc mode, the display is like the following when an
MD is inserted.
MD 26Tr82:37
The display shows the total number of the tracks recorded
and the total playing time.
To switch from the disc mode to the group mode,
press and hold s on the Mini Disc Recorder until
"GRP" appears.
Alternatively, press MD/GROUP MODE on the remote control.
The display becomes like the following:

The display shows the total number of the groups, total number
of the tracks and the total playing time.

To return to the disc mode, press and hold s until "GRP"
goes off. (Or press MD/GROUP MODE on the remote control
so that "GRP" goes off.)
Selecting a group in the group mode
In the group mode, proceed as follows to select a desired
group:
1 Press GROUP DIRECT (or GROUP (DIRECT) on
the remote control).
"GRP" flashes.
2 While "GRP" flashes, press f or g (or
numbered buttons on the remote control) to
select a group.
For example, when the group 1 is selected, the display is
like the following:
1G 4Tr15:57
The group number, total number of the tracks in the group
and total playing time are shown.
3 Press GROUP DIRECT (GROUP (DIRECT)).
"GRP" lights steadily.

1 Turn FUNCTION on the Stereo Integrated
Amplifier to select the MD function.

Alternatively, press MD on the remote control.

2 Insert an MD.
(DIRECT)
3 To play the entire disc, select the disc mode.
To play a desired group, select the group mode,
and then select the desired group.
4 Press c to start play.
To stop playback
Press s.
To pause playback
Press a. Press again to resume playback.
To play at a double speed
During play, keep c pressed for more than two seconds.
To resume nomal play, press c again.
To eject a disc
Press zEJECT.
Do not hold the disc when ejecting the disc.
To skip to the beginning of the current/preceding/
succeeding track
Press f or g repeatedly.
