Electrical installation
WARNING!
Risk of explosion in an explosive atmosphere (Zone 2)
` See DANGER note in chapter "8.3" on page 14!
Risk of injury due to electric shock (120 V AC)!
` When setting the position measuring system (Teach-In), do not
contact any live components!
` Before reaching into the system (except for the Teach-In pro-
cedure in a non-explosive atmosphere) switch off the power
supply and secure it to prevent restarting!
` Observe the applicable accident prevention and safety regu-
lations for electrical equipment!
Risk of injury due to improper installation!
` The PE connection must be connected!
` Installation may only be carried out by authorised specialist
personnel and using the appropriate tools.
Cable gland:
→
Open the housing.
→
Prepare the connection cable for signals and power supply as
well as for the external initiator, if necessary.
→
Insert cables through the respective cable glands into the
interior of the housing.
→
Connect the wires to the terminal strips according to the pin
assignments described in "Fig. 8".
