Parameter menu
All values can be displayed and adjusted via the
parameter menu.
1. Press operating button for 3 seconds.
2. Menu item 1.00 appears.

7.4. Initial commissioning

DANGER – explosive atmosphere!
If the connected pumps and signal transmit-
ters are used in potentially explosive areas,
there is a danger of fatal injuries from explo-
sions! The following points must be observed
without fail:
• Ex-mode is activated (menu 5.64)!
Due to safety reasons, the factory setting of
this parameter is "on"! Value "off" should be
set if the switchgear is not to be operated in
Ex-mode.
• Pumps comply with the ignition protection
class "Pressure-resistant enclosure".
• The pumps are directly connected to the
switchgear. The use of additional electronic
start-up controllers is prohibited!
• Signal transmitters are connected via a intrin-
sically safe electric circuit (Ex cut-off relay or
Zener barrier).
• Dry-running protection system and thermal
motor monitoring are connected to the cor-
rect terminals (see 6.4.4 and 6.4.7).
NOTE
Observe the installation and operating in-
structions for products provided on-site (fl oat
switches, level sensors, connected consumers)
as well as the system documentation!
The following points must be checked before the
initial commissioning:
• Check the installation.
• All terminals must be retightened.
• Motor protection correctly set.
Activation
1. Turn main switch to ON position.
2. The display lights up and outputs the latest
information. The display appearance changes
depending on the signal transmitter connected:
3. The "Standby" symbol appears and the switch-
gear is ready for operation. You can now set the
individual operating parameters.
NOTICE
• Backlight of the display is switched off if there is
no operation for 2 minutes.
• If the red fault LED lights up or fl ashes imme-
diately after activation, observe the error code
information on the display!
• You can fi nd an overview of all symbols in the
Appendix.
