6.4.2. Mains connection switchgear (Fig. 3)
BEWARE of incorrect voltage selection!
The switchgear is equipped with a multi-volt-
age power supply unit. This allows operation
at different voltages. Pre-selected voltage is
set at 400 V in the factory. For other voltag-
es, the converter bridge must be reinserted
accordingly. The power supply unit may be
destroyed if an incorrect voltage is selected!
Insert the power supply cable laid by the custom-
er through the threaded cable connections and
secure them. Connect the wires to the terminal
strip according to the connection diagram.
The protective earth conductor (PE) is connected
to the earth terminal strip.
• Mains connection 1~230 V:
• Cable: 3-core
• Wire: L, N, PE
• Converter bridge pre-selected voltage: 230,
COM
• Mains connection 3~380/400 V:
• Cable: 4-core
• Wire: L1, L2, L3, PE
• Converter bridge pre-selected voltage:
- 3~380 V: 380, COM
- 3~400 V: 400, COM

NOTE
The switchgear has an integrated monitoring
of the rotating field. The switchgear must be
connected to a clockwise rotating field so that
the switchgear operates correctly. If there is
no clockwise rotating field, error code "E006"
appears on the display.
Rotating field monitoring in menu 5.68 must
be deactivated when operating an alternating
current connection!
6.4.3. Mains connection pump (Fig. 3, item 1/2)
DANGER! Incorrect connection can result in
danger!
During intermediate switching of electronic
start-up controllers such as frequency con-
verters, specifications for use change within
potentially explosive areas. There is a risk of
fatal injury due to explosion! Ex-rated pumps
must always be directly connected to the
switchgear!
Insert the power supply cable laid by the custom-
er through the threaded cable connections and
secure them. Connect the wires to the contactor
as per the connection diagram.
• Mains voltage 1~230 V:
• Terminal T1: L
• Terminal T3: N
• Earth terminal strip: PE
• Mains voltage 3~380/400 V:
• Terminal T1: L1
• Terminal T2: L2
• Terminal T3: L3
• Earth terminal strip: PE
NOTE
The rotating field is routed directly to the pump
connection from the mains connection. Note
the required rotating field of the connected
pumps (clockwise or counter-clockwise)! Ob-
serve the installation and operating instructions
for the connected pumps.
Once the pump has been connected correctly, the
rated motor current needs to be adjusted.
Adjusting the rated motor current
(Fig. 3, item 8)
The max. permissible rated motor current must be
adjusted on the potentiometer:
• At full load, the motor protection should be set
to the rated current shown on the rating plate.
• At partial load, we recommend that the motor
protection be set 5 % above the current meas-
ured at the duty point.
The adjusted value can also be read via the menu:
• Pump 1: Menu 4.25
• Pump 2: Menu 4.26
• Pump 3: Menu 4.27
