If necessary (engine size) use the extension for
extraction pin code 1952 003 221.
Screw the threaded insert for extraction to the glow plug and
proceed with the extraction phase (fig. 34 ref.).
Continue inserting the new glow plug (fig. 35).
The kit includes the magnet; plastic manual tool with magnet (fig. 36).

GLOW PLUGS TIP EXTRACTION 1952 003 770 - MODULE 2
The kit contains the tools to remove the tip from M10 glow plugs:
DRILLING (fig. 37, 38, 39, 40)
Take the rod with the drill bit
1952 003 314 - Bit Ø 3.2 with extension installed (for M10x1)
and insert it into the proper guide
1952 003 545 - Guide for glow plug M10x1
Carefully insert the rod with the drill bit in the glow plug
compartment and screw the threaded guide.
Start the drilling operation using an electric drill acting with a slight
pressure (fig. 39).
After the drilling operation, disassemble the tools and clean the glow
plug compartment with compressed air to remove dirt and/or debris
(fig. 40).
