ADOPTION OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
POSITIONING THE LAMP:
The proper positioning of the lamp is essential for a proper use.
The distance between the lamp and the mouth of the patient should be about 2‐10
cm.
The flexible pipe allows easy positioning.
An additional joint (fig3) allows a rotation of 60 ° of the lamp on the axis of the
flexible pipe.
N.B.
Do not force the predefine angle in order to not compromise the functioning and to
not damage the cables.
Before switching on the bleaching lamp, the operator, patient, and
in general all persons present during the treatment, must put on
the special glasses (PPE ‐ personal protective equipment) supplied
with the device.
The intensity of the emitted light can cause irreparable damage to
the retina and it is therefore necessary to use special PPE
(personal protective equipment).
Check that the lamp is positioned correctly.
