ADOPTION OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE USER
LAMP POSITIONING:
Correct positioning of the lamp is essential for proper use.
The distance between the lamp and the patient's mouth should be about 2‐10 cm.
PEARL is provided with three articulated joints:

main articulated joint
•
telescopic
•
secondary articulated joint
The joints give different ways of positioning:
Supporting the arm lamp through the joint S3.

Turn (45/90°) counter‐clockwise the handwheel V (fg.6 pos. V),
obtained the ideal positioning, blocking the joint rotating
clockwise.

Movement rotation that
allows you to raise / lower
the lamp (+30 ° / ‐30 °).
Before switching on the bleaching lamp, the operator, patient, and
in general all persons present during the treatment, must put on
the special glasses (PPE ‐ personal protective equipment) supplied
with the device.
The intensity of the emitted light can cause irreparable damage to
the retina and it is therefore necessary to use special PPE
(personal protective equipment).
Check that the lamp is positioned correctly.
