Ride by wire
The vehicle is equipped with an innova-
tive accelerator control, called RIDE BY
WIRE, which allows maximum engine
performance, in every moment, taking in-
to account the requests of the driver, the
general operating conditions and the ex-
ternal conditions (atmospheric pressure,
temperature). With respect to traditional
injection systems, it permits electronic
control of acceleration, replacing the tra-
ditional cable. When riding at high alti-
tudes, the RIDE BY WIRE system com-
pensates for the inevitable loss of power
(1% for every 100 meters of height, due
to lower concentrations of oxygen in the
air), operating on the opening of the throt-
tle bodies. In the same way, the engine
responds to torque requests from the
throttle grip in riding conditions in flat
areas, transferring the natural reduction
of power to the higher gears. It follows
that the bodies are totally open when the
throttle grip is not completely turned, so

Ride by wire
Le véhicule est pourvu d'un système de
contrôle de l'accélérateur innovant, ap-
pelé RIDE BY WIRE, qui assure un com-
portement optimal du moteur, à tout
instant, en tenant compte des demandes
du pilote, des conditions générales de
fonctionnement et des conditions exté-
rieures (pression atmosphérique, tempé-
rature). En comparaison avec les systè-
mes d'injection classiques, il offre un
contrôle électronique de l'accélérateur
qui remplace le câble traditionnel. Lors
de la conduite en hauteur, le système RI-
DE BY WIRE compense la perte inévita-
ble de puissance (1 % tous les 100
mètres de dénivellation à cause d'une
concentration inférieure d'oxygène dans
l'air) en agissant sur l'ouverture des corps
papillons. En conséquence, la réponse
du moteur à la demande de couple réali-
sée au moyen de la poignée d'accéléra-
teur est similaire à une condition de
conduite dans la plaine, en déplaçant la
