5. Installation
The machine is set up, installed and presented
ready-for-operation by customer service.
You should leave changes on the installation or
setup only to customer service because of the
associated hazards.
Use only the new hose set supplied; old hose
sets may not be reused. Use only accessories
approved or supplied by the manufacturer for this
machine. Otherwise, safety or occupational
health may no longer be guaranteed.
Make sure that the following requirements are
met before using the machine - the safe and
flawless operation depends on them!
GB
5.a Requirements on the water supply:
The water connection must be easy to turn off
at any time during operation (stop valve) and
must meet the requirements of EN 61770.
The water line pressure must be at least 2.0 bar
(at 3 l/min. dynamic) but must not exceed
max. 6 bar (take possible fluctuations between
day/night operation into account). If the pressure
may potentially exceed 6 bar, a pressure
reducer must be installed on site.
The carbonate hardness of the water must lie
between 1 and 5 dKH. At a value of ...
–
> 3° dKH a stabilizer (Everpure water filter)
must be connected in-line
–
> 6° dKH a decarbonizing system (Brita water
filter) is absolutely required
–
< 1 dKH the manufacturer must be consulted
(soft water).
Water filters possibly installed in-line must be
monitored for their effectiveness and replaced no
later than every 12 months.
A fine strainer is always required.
5.b Requirements on the water drainage
The connection may only be made to a
permanent water drain with drain trap.
The connection to the water drain must be
protected against backup and backflow to
avoid contaminations in the machine through
waste water backflow.
