4) Check the oil level of the pump.
Fill the oil in the machines supplied without oil (the warning label is found on the packaging).
In machines with pre-filled oil, check the correct level through the opening on the rear or lateral side, as shown.
The ideal level corresponds with the centreline of the inspection window.
aTTENTION!
Never start the machine if there is no oil in the pump!
5) Connect the machine to the mains.
aTTENTION!
• verify that the frequency and the voltage of the machine correspond with those of the mains
by checking the plate on the rear of the machine.
• Insert the plug into a compatible socket: do not force it in if it is not compatible; use an adapter with
suitable characteristics.
• Check the data on the plate to verify that the power available from the mains is sufficient to power the
machine.
ElECtRICal hazaRd
• The phase inversion in the three-phase machines must only be performed by qualified tech-
nicians.
• Make sure the mains to which the machine shall be connected to has a suitable
and efficient earthing system.
• verify that the power cable is not damaged or stuck. If it must be replaced,
contact a qualified technician.
• Only qualified technicians must access live parts.
• Insert and remove the plug by pulling the plug itself and not the wire.
