11.2 REPLaCEMENT OF SEaLING baR TEFLON COvER
1) Extract the sealing bar from the vacuum chamber
by lifting it horizontally from the sides (Fig. 1).
2) Remove the Teflon covering (black) (Fig. 2).
3) Clean the aluminum sealing bar ca-
refully using a cloth soaked in alcohol
(Fig. 3).
4) Put on the new Teflon
covering, cutting off any
excess at the ends (Fig.
4).
5) Put the sealing bar back
in the vacuum chamber,
making sure it engages
correctly with the electrical
contacts.
