11.11 REPLaCING ThE GaS SPRING
1) Remove the rear panel, loosening the screws with a
Phillips head screwdriver (Fig. 4).
2) Raise the lid.
3) Remove the elastic ring from the piston attachment
pin (Fig. 5).

4) Pull the pin and tilt the lid back, resting it on a stable
support (Fig. 6).
5) Unscrew the gas spring
grasping the top and turning it counter clockwise.
