6. Safety information

Read the operating instructions and safety information carefully. If you do not follow the safety
instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we will assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the device is not permitted for safety and approval
reasons. Do not disassemble the product.
• The product is not a toy. Install and use the product in an area that is out of the reach of children.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical institutions. The wireless signals may interfere with life-
support equipment. The same may also apply to other areas.
• Handle the product with care. Impacts or falls (even from a low height) may damage the product.
• If there are any signs of damage, discontinue use and take the product to a specialist repair centre, or
dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- There are signs of damage.
- The appliance ceases to function
- The device was stored for a long period of time in unfavourable conditions
- The product was mishandled during transport
• Condensation may form when the product is brought from a cold room into a warm one (e.g. during
transportation).
For this reason, allow the product reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply. This
may take several hours.
Moisture on the mains adapter may cause a fatal electric shock!
• Do not leave packaging material unattended, as it may become a dangerous toy for children.
• Always comply with the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment when using the product
in industrial facilities.
• In schools, educational facilities, hobby and DIY workshops, the product must be operated under the
supervision of qualified personnel.
