Recordings can't be saved
• Is the storage medium full? If so, insert a new, empty SD card/USB storage device.
• Enable the automatic overwrite feature (see 12d). If the disk is full, the oldest recording will be automatically over-
written and deleted when you make a new recording.
When the overwrite feature is disabled, recordings will not be saved if the disk is full.
• Disable write protection on the SD card/USB storage device.
• If the write protection switch on the SD card is loose, write protection may be accidentally enabled when you insert
the SD card into the monitor/DVR.
• Format the SD card or USB storage device using the corresponding option on the monitor/DVR (see section 12e).
Formatting the SD card/storage device will delete all stored data. Depending on the size of the SD card/storage
device, formatting may take a while to complete.
• The monitor/DVR only supports the FAT and FAT32 file format (NTFS is not supported).
• If recordings are not saved to the SD card properly, check that the SD card is Class 4 or higher. This ensures that
the read/write speeds are high enough to save video recording data.
There is no audio signal from the wireless camera
• Check whether the monitor/DVR speaker is muted (see section 12k).
• Adjust the volume (see section 12n or 10c).
Whistling sound/feedback from the monitor/DVR speaker
• The wireless camera is too close to the monitor/DVR. The sound recorded by the microphone in the wireless cam-
era is played again through the monitor/DVR speaker after a short delay, which causes feedback/whistling sounds.
• If you wish to place the devices next to each other (e.g. for test purposes), decrease the volume on the monitor/
DVR, or mute the speaker. Alternatively, use a piece of insulating tape to cover the microphone on the back of the
wireless camera.
Recordings cannot be played back
• Playback is not possible when a video signal is being recorded. This is also the case when you attempt to play a
recording via the Android or iOS app.
