5.3. SWITCHING THE MACHINE OFF

To switch the machine off with no risk of damage to the operating
system installed on the on-board PC, press the button (Fig. 20)
in the main screen of the machine, wait for the PC to shut down
completely then switch off the mains power supply with the main
switch on the electrical box.

6. TYRE DEMOUNTING AND MOUNTING

PROCEDURES
To avoid damage to the rims, we recommend
to replace the plastic inserts beneath the head
(fig.21 A-B) every 2 months, or sooner in case of
excessive wear and tear.
The inserts for the replacement are supplied
with the machine.
6.1. dECIdING FROM WHICH SIdE OF THE
WHEEL THE TYRE MUST BE dEMOUNTEd
See Fig. 22. Find the position of rim well A on the wheel
rim. Find the largest width B and the smallest width C. The
tyre must be mounted and demounted with the wheel on
the turntable with the smallest width side C facing upwards.
SPECIAL WHEELS
Alloy rim wheels: some alloy rim wheels have minimal
rim wells A or no rim wells at all - Fig. 22a. These rims are
not approved by DOT (Department of Transportation)
standards.
The initials DOT certify that tyres comply with the safety
standards adopted by the United States and Canada (these
wheels cannot be sold on these markets).
