At the end of the measurement cycle, the machine displays the following values:
-
Lateral Force variation of the wheel
-
Radial Force variation of the wheel,
-
radial run-out of the wheel,
-
tyre tread depth,
-
rolling radius of tyre.
Press the graph buttons
ment values:
-
radial force variation of the wheel in relation to the radial position in terms of
the 1st harmonic (light blue) and peak-to-peak (yellow) values.
-
radial run-out variation of the wheel in relation to the radial position in terms
of the 1st harmonic (light blue) and peak-to-peak (yellow) values
-
lateral force variation of the wheel in relation to the radial position in terms of
the 1st harmonic (light blue) and peak-to-peak (yellow) values
-
tyre tread profile
and the corresponding printout report.
Press 'print'
is connected).
Press 'next'
If, from the values measured for the wheel, the machine calculates that the radial force
radiation is not within permissible limits, it may be possible to compensate for this
non-conformity by measuring the values for the wheel (see programme RIM MEASURE-
MENT) and performing the wheel-tyre matching procedure (see paragraph WhEEL-TyRE
MATChING PROGRAMME).
7.3 RIM ANd TYRE MEASUREMENT
- select the wheel to be measured and press 'next'
Note: before removing the wheel from the vehicle, mark each wheel with the number
representing the position of the wheel itself on the vehicle.
- mount the wheel on the turntable, rotate the wheel to bring the valve into the 3 o'clock
position and press 'next',
- press the turntable rotation pedal and wait for the rim measurement cycle to complete
Artiglio Uniformity User Manual

to measure the next wheel.
